Steve Levy

Steve is the Manager of our QC Theater. He will guide you through the QC process from start to finish. Steve started his career in show business working as a Moving Picture Machine Operator in New York during the single screen, carbon arc era. Prior to joining NT in 2006, Steve worked for Loew’s Theaters as Director of Projection & Sound, then went on to establish the east coast regional office for Sony Cinema Products. While at Sony, Steve contributed toward the development of the DFP-3000 SDDS processor. Steve moved to California while working for BARCO’s Digital Cinema division. At NT, Steve is a caretaker of relationships. Closely working with post production supervisors, sound mixers, and film laboratories, so that if an unexpected issue arises, he can quickly identify it, and guide everyone toward a solution.

Shawn Jones

Shawn has worked at NT as our Engineer and Technologist since 1996. He has been instrumental in keeping NT in the forefront of technology to best serve the needs of our customers. His most recent project accomplishments include our new laser recording system and QC Theatre. Prior to NT, Shawn worked for Sony Electronics where he assisted in the development of the SDDS format, receiving a patent for his contributions. Additionally, Shawn performed as a live sound mixer for various touring acts and systems design consultant for numerous screening rooms and live venues. Shawn holds a Bachelors Degree from UCLA and is an active member of SMPTE and the Academy Theater Standards Committee.

Dave Lomino

Dave is Manager of Operations. He has over 18 years management experience in military aerospace and motion picture sound. In 1987, he joined Skywalker Sound and later became the Manager of Sound Transfer. In 1994, Dave was recruited by NT Audio as a Sound Recordist and was later promoted to Manager of Operations. Dave attended UCLA School of Economics. He is a hands-on Manager who has experience with digital audio, Pro Tools, magnetic recorders, and photographic densities. His strengths also include scheduling, organizing, and troubleshooting each project to ensure that NT produces top of the line quality products in a timely manner. Dave is always available to answer any of your questions.

Anne Slack

Anne Slack has over 15 years experience in audio post production for film and television. She started out in Seattle as a transfer engineer at Bad Animals, worked with recording artists, organized film scoring sessions, and created radio and television broadcast masters for top Advertising Agencies. In 1998 she became the Chief Transfer Engineer at Digital Sound and Picture in Los Angeles and then worked as a Sound Effects Editor. In 2001 Anne and her husband Brian started and operated Widget Post Production, specializing in audio restoration services for PAL and NTSC films, as well as providing sound editorial and mixing services on some of the biggest films from 2005-2009. Clients included MGM and Sony. At Widget, she was responsible for all client relations and project management, overseeing the schedules for 60 employees and multiple daily projects. Anne is currently a voting member for the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences as well as the Motion Picture Sound Editors where she also served as a Board of Directors member for several years. She understands the various needs of our clients and their projects. Anne’s top priority is to ensure the timeliness and quality of every job that comes through NT Audio.

Gary Galvin

Gary is Sales Manager for NT Picture & Sound. Gary has worked in the TV and motion picture industry for over 25 years. Beginning as a TV journalist he transitioned to producing/writing video and film documentaries. Later he moved into producing and directing TV commercials. Prior to joining NT Gary was a sales representative with Sony Broadcast Electronics specializing in Hi-Def acquisition and post-production products. Before that he was Western Sales Manager for Steadicam™. With his understanding and experience in film and TV production procedures Gary is your ally in developing time and cost saving solutions. He can show you ways to help streamline the process, keep your project moving smoothly and within budget.
